Kindergarten (LKG & UKG) Curriculum

Building Strong Foundations Through Joyful Learning

Our Kindergarten programme is designed to provide a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children learn through play, exploration, storytelling, and hands-on activities. The curriculum focuses on the holistic development of every child, preparing them for a smooth transition to primary education. It aligns with the play-based, development-oriented approach promoted in Kerala’s early childhood education frameworks.

Core Learning Areas

  • English – Alphabet recognition, phonics, vocabulary, rhymes, storytelling, conversation, and early reading & writing.
  • Malayalam – Letter recognition, vocabulary, rhymes, stories, and basic writing skills.
  • Mathematics – Numbers, counting, shapes, patterns, comparisons, measurements, and simple problem-solving.
  • General Awareness (EVS) – My family, school, community, animals, plants, seasons, transport, festivals, and the environment.
  • Creative Arts – Drawing, colouring, painting, craft, music, dance, and imaginative play.
  • Physical Development – Indoor and outdoor games, yoga, movement activities, and fine & gross motor skill development.
  • Digital Learning – Interactive smart-class activities, educational videos, and age-appropriate technology experiences.

Moral & Value Education

Our Moral Education programme helps children develop positive attitudes and good character through stories, role play, songs, and daily classroom practices.

Kerala State Academic Programme (Classes 1–12)

The Kerala State academic programme follows the curriculum developed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Kerala under the Department of General Education. The curriculum is designed to provide holistic, learner-centred, and competency-based education from Class 1 to Class 12.

Lower Primary (Classes 1–4)

The primary stage focuses on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, and social development through activity-based learning.
